My core values

Coaching and consulting both start with presence, attention, and a genuine interest in what is needed. A community starts from two people, and it can take many forms: a business, a group, a project, a partnership, or something else entirely. Sometimes, growth begins simply by being there, truly there, for one another, and that is where both community and progress take root. As both a coach and a consultant, I believe these practices share the same foundation: helping people and projects move forward in a way that is thoughtful, practical, and human. Community, simplicity, and growth are the principles that keep that work grounded and meaningful.

Community

Humans are social beings, and we have a need to belong. With the internet, community can now be found anywhere, crossing borders, cultures, and distances, which speaks deeply to my international life and the importance of staying connected. From zebras to unicorns, we are all different, all unique, all wearing our own stripes, whether they are visible or not, and that diversity matters. I believe in building good things with good people, and doing great things with great people. For me, community is about inclusivity, togetherness, and the spaces where people feel they belong. It is about being part of a community, creating one, and supporting the communities that help people grow.

Simplicity

As a huge overthinker, simplicity is an essential value for me. It reminds me to stay grounded, to keep things clear, and to return to what truly matters. My background in quality management also shaped this value: having created hundreds of quality improvement plans, I learned that it is easy to tell others what they should do, but much harder to build solutions that are truly implementable and last over time. This is why I find coaching so powerful: you build your solution from your own resources, and I am here to help you find it. Lean thinking and the idea of reducing Muda (waste, unnecessary complexity, and friction) resonate deeply with me. For me, simplicity is not about doing less for the sake of it; it is about creating clarity, making space, and focusing on what is useful, workable, and meaningful.

Growth

Growth takes many forms. It can be personal, as clients gain clarity, confidence, and perspective. It can be collective, as people learn with and from one another through community. It can also be practical, as businesses, projects, and ideas evolve through continuous improvement and steady progress. Growth is not only about moving forward; it is about moving forward in a way that is sustainable, intentional, and useful over time. It matters in coaching, in consulting, and in the way we build things together.
